The annual Ironman UK event takes place in Bolton on Sunday 16th July 2017.
The bike course runs through Belmont Village up to the M65 where it turns to Heapey.
As such, Belmont Road is closed northbound at the Black Dog pub and access to the club can only be made from the North between 6.30am and 2pm.

BELMONT VILLAGE: 6.30am until 2.00pm

The northbound A675 will be closed at Belmont. We would request if you need to leave the area that you travel south in the opposite direction to the cyclists. There will be a northbound road closure in the village. If you would normally access your property from this direction you will be required to follow the diversions back to junction 3 of the M65. Access from the North will be unrestricted.

PARKING: In order for us to maintain the safety of road users and cyclists we will be restricting parking in the area and would request that you find alternative parking from the A675 at the above times. There is temporary parking available on the Belmont Rd south of the village.
