As we come to the end of the A and D series, coupled with last Sunday being possibly the best sailing
conditions we have had this season it seems a good time to share an update of the average results. I
should also comment that it’s good to see 27 boats in the fleet over half of which are sailing
regularly.
These average results mustn’t be confused with the club racing results. It is to give us all an
indication of how we are doing against others in the fleet that we know are sailing at a similar level
to ourselves.
Some points to consider:
• Sunday 4th July results are not included – there were only three sailors out, the others were
either at the nationals, on holiday or isolating with covid – so would not be in the spirit of
what is intended.
• Similarly, some of the fleet have not sailed a huge amount this season for a range of reasons.
Where a sailor has sailed in less than 20% of the overall races I haven’t included them in the
ranking and at the end of the season won’t make any changes to the fleet they are in.
