Bolton Sailing Club is a recognised training centre of the Royal Yachting Association.
The RYA Dinghy Level 1 (Start Sailing) course teaches you how to sail in all directions, including launching and recovery techniques. RYA Dinghy Level 2 (Basic Skills) develops these skills further, covering rigging, launching, sailing in all directions, capsize recovery, and essential safety knowledge.
Our RYA Adult Dinghy Level 1 & 2 course is designed to give you the confidence to sail independently and make safe decisions on the water in suitable wind conditions.
The combined Level 1 & 2 course runs over approximately 32 hours and is delivered across six training sessions.
Important:
This is one complete RYA course spread across multiple dates. To successfully complete the course and gain your RYA certificates, participants must attend all sessions for their chosen course.

Tuesday evening sessions run from 19:00 - 21:00
Saturday sessions run from 09:00 - 16:00
