Bolton Sailing Club was proud to welcome young sailors from across the country on the 25th & 26th October for the GP14 Class National Youth Championship. The event brought a vibrant atmosphere to the club, with impressive racing and a strong sense of camaraderie both on and off the water.

Congratulations to Jasper Bramwell (Hollingworth Lake Sailing Club) and Lewis Bacon (Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club) on their well-earned victory. Their performance was outstanding, and they set a high bar for the competition.

We also extend our heartfelt admiration to every sailor who took part, especially those who only began sailing this summer. Your enthusiasm, skill, and sportsmanship were truly inspiring. It’s clear the future of the GP14 fleet is in excellent hands, and we were honoured to host such a passionate group of young sailors.

Events like this are only possible thanks to the dedication of our volunteers. We’re deeply grateful to the race team, galley crew, safety boat drivers, adult crews, bar team, and the many supportive families who helped make the weekend run seamlessly. Your commitment and care are the backbone of our club.
