Sunshine, blue skies, and wind – the perfect day for Bolton Sailing Club's RNLI Regatta Day! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the event. It was fantastic to see the club come together for a fun day of friendly competition on the water, all while raising money for the RNLI, a vital cause that keeps our seas safe.
We especially want to thank Tom and his team, RNLI volunteers, for adding to the day with their fantastic raffle and stall. Their contributions helped make Regatta Day a memorable event for all.
A big thanks goes out to the Deputy Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen Council for joining us as well. Her presence and support for the event was greatly appreciated. She drew the raffle and also presented the RNLI trophy to Mark and Chris, winners of the GP14 fleet.
We were also delighted to welcome President Dipanka from Bolton Lions Club who helped present the Sailability trophy to Saskia and Graham Hough.
