We are deeply saddened to share that Handel Platt, long-standing member and Honorary Life Member of the club, passed away this morning.
Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
Details of the funeral service:
The funeral service will be held at Harwood Methodist Church, Longsight, Harwood, Bolton BL2 3HX at 11:00am on Friday 1st August. Handel will be buried at Tottington Road Chapel attended by the family.
After the service everyone is invited back to Bolton Sailing Club for refreshments and an opportunity to share memories of Handel.
The family advise there is no need to wear black.
